Now I have some questions to answer. Hope you enjoy!
What are you working on right now?
I've got a few more stories to finish before I can publish
my first book. I've got three stories I am currently in the middle of
writing. One is about a man who gets a surprise
threesome from his wife for his birthday.
Another story is about a wife who loses a bet to her husband and has to
become his sex slave for the weekend. The
third story is about a girl who discovers she has the power to bake sexual
feelings into the foods she is making.
She takes this newly learned power and opens up a very popular bakery in
town!
How does your work differ from others in its genre?
I don't like to mess around when getting to the good stuff. Many books create an entire story with characters
they need to develop and a plot line that runs through the entire book. These books often have very hot and heavy sex
scenes but they are often too few and far between for my tastes. When I want to read erotica I want the goods
right then and there so I made my stories just the sexy stuff. No real character development, no real plot
line, just hot sex. That's why I call my
blog Quick and Dirty… that's the way I like it.
Why do you write erotic romance?
I actually started writing as a way to get more followers
for a twitter account (I was playing the role of Jack Hyde for a 50 shades role
play group). I started out by saying
that I would post an S&M story when I got to 200 followers. Well I got to 200 followers faster than I
thought so I ended up making up this erotic story live. As fast as I could think of the story I was
typing it into twitter. It was
crazy. The next time I set a goal and
asked followers questions they could vote on for how the story would go. I asked about location and sex toys and
number of people involved, etc. That was
a fun one as well getting the audience participation and it ended up being a
really great story as well. Now I don't
do the role play anymore (too busy!) but I got so many kind comments on how
great my stories were that I felt the need to start my own blog to publish
these stories and give myself the chance to continue writing more. My next goal is to get a group of these mini
erotica stories together and to publish my first Kindle book.
How does your writing process work?
Unlike other authors who set aside time every day to write,
I tend to only write when I'm in the mood or I have a specific deadline for a
project, which is why it is taking me FOREVER to finish my book! There are times when I can write two or three
stories in a week, and other times when I will go months without writing a
single story. When I do write a story I
tend to write it very fast (within an hour or two) and I don't go back for edits
or rewrites. Once it's done, it's
done. I think that is a trait I learned
from doing it on Twitter. I also like to
get audience involvement still. I am constantly
asking my husband and friends about hot situations they would like to see a
story about. Or once I do have a story
idea, I might throw out questions to help with fun details or twists that I can
add to the story. I don't think a single
story of mine is complete my own because I get so many ideas from those around
me.
